DroughtYes, the very world itself is groaning. These things are not merely the result of chance or cause and effect, because this world is coming to its final conclusion.

Fire and DestructionThe complete disintegration of the fabric of society as we know it, epitomized in the breakdown of the family unit, mother, father and children living together in one home.
The total disregard for the authority of the nation, because the concept of being accountable for one’s own actions has been taken away from us due to politically correct ungodly thinking, with even the most heinous crimes seemingly going un punished!.

These are indeed troubled times, in an age when technological breakthroughs are occurring daily (so it seems), when scientists are explaining the outer reaches of space, diving to the depths of the oceans to harvest their resources, and even dividing the very building blocks of life through D.N.A.; yes with so many advancements, so many achievements by mankind, why is the world in such a terrible state today?

Twin TowersThe things which Jesus spoke of in 2 Timothy and in Matthew’s gospel are clearly taken place before our very eyes!
If these things have been troubling you, if you have been looking for the answers to the questions that these events and states of affairs pose, well there is One who has given us the answers, because the Bible teaches us “that there is a day coming when all mankind will come before the very judgment seat of God” and we will all give our account of our lives to God. “ For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” Roman 1:20.

Devestation“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.” (2Timothy 3:1) “As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, ‘Tell us’ they said, ‘when will this happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and the end of the age?’ … ‘You will hear of wars and rumours of wars. ….Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of the birth pains.”
Floods, earthquakes, tidal waves, droughts, the forces of the natural world, increasingly, (so it seems) speeding toward some dramatic conclusion. God tells us in his bible in Romans 8:22 “We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.”
